I decided to further explore my relationship with various places of significance; the Agawa Canyon in Ontario, the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA and at other locations encountered on travels across Canada and around the world; in particular the gorge of the Tianxiang River and canyons of Taroko National Park in Taiwan and Nikko National Park in Japan. The concept of each work includes impressions of the ecology of these geographical areas. The process hints of spontaneity and randomness involvingmultiple layers of various materials and techniques, computer technologies, and applications of surfaces that capture elements of light.
